Cast iron recipes.

I recently bought a new cast iron pan, and i've been trying to find some good recipes to try out in it. I rounded up ones that I was pretty much drooling over and thought those would be a good start! Do you have a favorite cast iron pan recipe? We'd love to hear it!

I know I posted this once before, but this roasted red pepper and feta skillet scone looks too good not to try! Recipe found at Joy The Baker.

Oh my goooooooodness, these Irish nachos literally have me wanting to lick my screen!

This golden beet & blue cheese risotto looks so creamy and delicious!

I've made this recipe for green curry turkey meatballs before, and it's on high rotation in my home!

I knew when I saw this recipe for lime chicken and corn pizza over at Design Love Fest, that I would be making it immediately! Doesn't it look so delicious?

A good ol' traditional breakfast in a pan!

  1. This looks beyond delicious!

  2. This is one of those posts where I wish I could click and sniff! Yum!

  3. Mmmmmm, these looks so good! Especially the breakfast. And the meatballs. And the risotto. And...well actually everything looks tasty :)

  4. Ooh, I might have to try a few of these! We just got a brand new cast iron and I've been wanting to try new things!

  5. Wow, those all look sooo delicious. I saved the irish nachos and I have been meaning to try making that big cookie. I use my cast iron pan for everything. It is the only pan I own. :)

  6. I love cooking with my cast iron skillet, and I often check out pinterest for recipes, especially Seasons and Suppers' "Cast Iron Cooking & Baking" Board at http://pinterest.com/SeasonsSuppers/cast-iron-cooking-baking/

  7. I have a cast iron skillet from my step-great-grandmother, whom we called Aunt Alice. It must be 70 years old. Anything cooked in it tastes incredible. A chemist might attribute that to the heat properties of the iron, but I think the spirit of Alice, an incredible cook, lives on and flavors everything in a magical way.

  8. All of those breakfast potato pictures are making my stomach growl! I love cooking with cast iron, especially for pancakes! Some other things that work well in there are frittatas and cornbread :)
