Tattoo inspiration

It's been awhile since I've gotten a tattoo, but I have a few ideas that I've mulled over for the past year and decided that it was time to stop thinking, and start doing! It helped that I got a gift certificate to Rebel Waltz for Christmas, so I quickly made an appointment with Bram, who has done two of my tattoos in the past.
The tattoo that I have planned has been on my mind for the past three years, and I'm doing it in memory of my Aunt who passed away a few years ago. It's very dear to my heart and I'm so excited to finally get it done! I'm not going to show what it is until it's finished, but here are a few tattoos that I came across that I love, and are somewhat similar to what I'm getting done.

  1. Alice Carrier is so incredible. I find myself constantly swooning over pieces and then realizing they were all done by her, haha.

  2. Have you heard of tattly? Their tattoos aren't permanent but the designs are super cool.

  4. This year, I WILL get a tattoo!! I've been wanting one for a long time...just trying to nail down a design. Definitely want to go with a bohemian flair, but nothing too cliche, you know? Any advice on dealing with a mama that's anti-tattoo? HAHAHA! I'm 32, but feel like my mama will still want to kill me. EEP!!

Super excited to see what you get!

  5. Such a lovely sentiment for your tattoo.
My memorial tattoos are for sure my favourite, not just because they're pretty but the meaning behind them means so much.
Can't want to see your piece.
