Here are 5 things that inspired us this week: our amazing families and friends!
We are so thankful to have you in our lives and we love you all so much!
My little bro, Dan Shortt, is an amazing drummer and is in a band, New Renaissance, and they are playing their first show after making their new album tonight! I can't wait to hear their new songs!
Check out this short rehearsal video. So pumped for you t.non!

My little sister, Meg Kroeker, is one of the most talented people I know.
She finished her photography/studio arts portfolio for Concordia this week,
and without seeing it in person, I am fully aware that she nailed every aspect of it.
She has been sewing, drawing, photographing, writing and stenciling up a storm and it is finally done!
Mother hen pride. You said it.

My Auntie Marj would have turned 55 this week.
Sadly, she was taken away much too quickly, in a car accident on November 9, 2010.
I miss you today and every day, tante.

My close friend, James Paschke, is an extremely talented film-maker, and I was even lucky enough that he offered to shoot a super 8 video of my wedding! He captured the day so perfectly and it is honestly the most beautiful video ever. This week he finished making a rough cut of some

Our good friend, Jill Sawatzky, is the amazing woman behind Tony Chestnut
and this week she released some new dresses that we are drooling over!
Also, both sets of our parents are making their way home from their long (much deserved) holidays this week! Stef's parents are driving our station wagon, the future puller-of-Olive, home from Arizona. My (Erin) parents are coming back from Bali, Indonesia and my jet-setting brother Mike will finally be home after a month long stint in Calgary, Thailand, Mexico and Toronto! It's nice to have the people we love at home, safe and sound!
We hope you all had a wonderful week! Give your loved ones a squeeze!
