Sup, Friday!

Another week gone by and another week closer to Christmas! Eep! Every year I say that I'm gonna be ahead of the game but looks like that ship has sailed, yet again! Oops! I guess I'll be hitting up the busy malls this weekend. What about you guys, are you all ready for the holidays?
Here is some inspiration to start your weekend off right:
Wish this cute cozy corner was in my living room! (Rug wall hanging available at Urban Outfitters)

Need a new cocktail recipe for the holiday season? Well try this one for grapefruit champagne cocktails with sage simple syrup. Not only is it pretty, but it tastes delicious as well!
recipe here:

A little touch of greenery makes all the difference. Even better that it's on an adorable plant stand!

Egg & avocado toasts. So simple, yet so delicious.
Recipe found via Design Love Fest.

Who doesn't love a pop of mint?

The cutest bookends I ever did see! You can buy them over at Anthropologie.

Have a good weekend, friends! Stay warm! XO

Friday love.

Hey pals! Well, it's Friday at last, and we are busy getting ready to close our shop Rhymes with Orange and begin our new endeavours which we will share with you guys soon. Until then, if you're in the area, come by our shop until Dec.23! Today and tomorrow we are offering 50% off of everything in the store! Have a happy weekend.
This aerial shot puts a huge smile on my face.

This is my ultimate dream living situation. It's on Airbnb so maybe I can just plan a trip instead!?

Speaking of dream situations, this is my ultimate fridge. Maybe one day. Ha, a girl can dream, right?

Ha. This made me laugh this morning.

Mmm...this pumpkin tart with gingersnap crust looks delicious!

TGIF!

Whoa, I can't believe we have been back for a week already! It feels like the time has gone by rather quickly considering I have been spending the majority of it sleeping, ha. This time around the jetlag hit me like a ton of bricks and I just can't keep seem to get my sleep schedule back on track. Well, at least wintertime is for hibernating, right?
Here is some pretty inspiration to warm up this chilly day:
These fabulous glittery tights are a must-have for my holiday wardrobe.

How adorable are these copper lights? Good news, you can make your own at home with this DIY!

I am constantly on the hunt for the perfect cheese platter and I believe this may be it.

This week I finally relented and went back to my signature look of black blunt bangs and this photo of the lovely Lea Seydoux was my inspiration. Feels so good to have the fringe back!

Yes. So much yes. Everything about this photo.

Hope you all have a warm & cozy weekend! :)

Cozy Friday love.

You know those days where you're just exhausted and would give just about anything to escape to a cabin in the woods? I could use a wood stove, and cozy blankets and a good book and a hot cup of tea right about now. At least it's the weekend, and we're leaving in just a couple of days! One more day of work! Woop! I've been in holiday mode for like a week. Ha. Hope you guys have a relaxing weekend!
This. This right here. Is all I want.

I wanna sit in my sweatpants and eat a whole lot of these.

In my dream cabin situation, this fireplace would exist.

This (sold out) teapot is just perfection.

You can't be at a cabin without cozy things like these incredible scarves that my friend Christie makes. You can follow her along on Instagram for now.
Photo by Nikaela Peters, and the babe model is our friend Janessa Brunet!
I got to participate in a trunk sale last night with Jill of Tony Chestnut and Christie, the amazing scarf maker and had such a nice time! I am so proud of all these amazing women in our city.

Happy Thanksgiving weekend!

Woop it's Friday yet again, and it's Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada! The shop is closed on Monday so we're taking our long weekend and running with it-off to the country for me for multiple turkey dinners! We hope you guys have a wonderful Thanksgiving, and if you didn't already know, we're pretty darn thankful for you guys.
What a pretty photo. Love that coat.

Well doesn't this look inviting!?

Omg, this pear, bacon and blue cheese pasta looks to incredible.

I couldn't have put it better myself. On that note, I'm outta here.

XO, Erin

Friday at last!

Hey pals! Well, it's Friday at last! Got any exciting plans for the weekend? It's supposed to be pretty cold and dreary in these parts, so I plan on catching up on a lot of new Fall tv when I'm not at work!

I'm really into this simple but cozy look for Fall.

Speaking of cozy, this butternut squash soup looks pretty wonderful.

This dotted clock is pretty great.

This home is completely dreamy, I mean look at those stairs! Home tour featured in Frankie, photo found at this lovely website.

Snow white.

Sometimes a lack of color is the prettiest shade of them all. Here are some beautiful photos of white inspiration for your Tuesday afternoon:

What a gorgeous piece from 1942. It is truly remarkable how clean it has remained!

Cute idea for postcard art.

...Because everything is more fun with polka dots.

Happy Tuesday! XO

Fall Faves!

Happy first day of Autumn everyone! In honor of the change of seasons we thought we would share with you five reasons why we are fond of Fall:

1. All of the beautiful colors everywhere.
All of the trees are absolutely gorgeous here at this time of year because they have the perfect mix of summer green leaves and autumn yellow and orange tones.

2. It's time to start getting into hibernation mode for the winter.
The nights are starting to become dark earlier and there is a slight chill in the air letting us know that winter is just around the corner and we are going to be spending more cozy time indoors.

On the topic of spending more time indoors, fall is the perfect time to finish any home projects that you have been putting off on those hot lazy summer days. Pick up some green plants and some cozy rugs and make your place as comfy and inviting as possible.

4. Spending more time in the kitchen baking.
Put all of those harvested apples to good use and bake a delicious aromatic apple pie! (Or a yummy peach pie like the one above!)

5. And last but not least the obvious reason why we love fall: dressing in layers.
It's time to break out your favorite blazers, leather jackets, and capes, friends! Yay!

What about you guys, what are your favorite parts about this season?
XO

Friday love.

Happy Friday pals! We hope you've all had a great week and have a fun and relaxing weekend ahead! We've had a busy yet productive week and we have a lot of really really exciting stuff in the works! We'll share a little bit of what we're going to be up to in the next couple of weeks!
I like this print quite a bit.

One of our sweet readers sent us a link to their Etsy shop, and we're loving these little scalloped planters!

This. This is what I want.

These apple fritter bites look super tasty!

Blue Valentine.

This Tuesday we are singing the blues:

I'm usually not the biggest fan of snow, but this beautiful town in Norway looks pretty idealistic right about now.

Decorating with tones of blue.

I'm really in love with this print because I used to have a pet budgie growing up and ever since then I've always had a soft spot for those tiny birds.

Hope you all had a lovely weekend! XO
