Well, every year we put together a wishlist before our birthdays and Christmas- you know, for those clueless ones in your life ;) and this week I finally finished mine. This week not only did I quit my job at Market Burger, Stef and I are closing the shop down, and I am turning 30! It's a week that I'm sure I won't forget, but am also kind of excited to get over with! I think I may ring in the new year doing a little online shopping...

Well friends, it's been a busy couple of days over here and I'm excited to announce that I launched my new online shop today and I'd love for you to check it out. There are still a few weeks until Christmas, and let me tell you, they are so cozy and would make a great gift!

They are made of 50%cotton and 50% polyester with iron on letters. They are extremely comfortable and machine-washable!

Paint it black.

This season I have been really into black clothing, I have been avoiding it for years because I always felt like it was dark overload paired with my black hair but now that I've lightened my locks I am exploring it as a wardrobe option again. Here are a few of my favorite pieces that I'd love to get my hands on this fall season:

Jacket up!

I'm currently sitting in the store with my jacket on. I guess Fall weather is here, and thus it's time to turn on the heat, or at least go jacket shopping! I have a tiny bit of a jacket/coat obsession, and every year I say I will part with a few of my old ones, and then never do! Here are a few that I have my eye on this season.

Erin's end of Summer wishlist

With Summer coming to an end, it's hard not to want to start layering and changing things up for chillier weather. At the same time, I'm grasping on to our few warm days left, and going sock and tight-less as long as I can! Here are a few things I have my eye on for the changing season.

It's (almost) sweater weather.

The temperatures have gradually started to drop here in Winnipeg so we have already started doing a little bit of fall window shopping, as much as it pains us to admit that summer is coming to a close. As much as we hate to admit it, summer won't last forever and fall is just around the corner so we thought it would be appropriate to share some cute dresses that are great for transitioning between the two seasons! Sun-kissed locks.

I have a haircut appointment for later on today and I could not be more excited! My brother is getting married in a week and a half (!) and I was determined to have my bangs grown out for the event... and nine months and zero haircuts later they finally are! Woo woo! Now my locks just require some much needed TLC and styling help and I will be ready to go.

I've been dying my hair jet black for almost ten years now and last summer I slowly started incorporating some light parts in as well, and I'm thinking that I'm going to add a few more for the wedding too. Here are some photos of pretty sun-kissed locks that have inspired me lately, because change is good, right?

Wrap it up.

I was cleaning up my bedroom this morning and realized that I have an absurd amount of headscarves and ties and I almost never wear them. I picked one out and am starting to wonder why I don't wear them every day! Here's a little inspiration for ya.

 This summer we have both been really attracted to the combination of denim and stripes. In my opinion, you can never really go wrong with a classic black and white striped top because it is so versatile. We have also both been really into the look of pairing stripes with some sort of distressed denim jacket, shorts or pants. Tony Chestnut does it again.

I'm so excited to share the work of two very important people in my life. My good friend Jill Sawatzky is the one woman power house behind the clothing line Tony Chestnut which we love. We have mentioned her amazing work in the past (remember the interview and collaboration we did with her?) and are pleased to get to show you some of the photos from her latest collection. These are two of my favorite looks. That vest is such an amazing color and super versatile! The top on the right was drawn and printed by my sister as well, and made into the most beautiful top by Jill.

Long hair, don't care.

Last year I chopped over a foot of hair off and I have been sorta dreaming of having long hair again ever since. I wasn't intentionally growing it out, but I have just been sorta lazy with haircuts over the past while and it is slowly starting to creep up on me again. Now that summer is just around the corner I am thinking of getting a new 'do and these are some pretty styles that I have had my eye on lately:

Leather love.

When I think of leather, I usually think of Autumn, but as the snow begins to melt, and Spring is upon us, I can't seem to get leather off my mind. Here are some of my favorite leather looks lately:

This has got to be one of the nicest leather jackets I've ever seen. I could do a lot of damage at All Saints.

I really love these leather rucksacks.

Ugh. Like Erin Wasson wasn't cool enough, this leather vest and entire look by Madewell is pretty killer.
