These are so pretty, and so original to what we see today. I actually just mailed out some vintage cards, and I like them so much more than the silly boxed sets you can get now. I would much rather make my own, or scrounge and dig and scurry and find and discover rarities like these than pay $6 for identical cards that some do not find interesting, and that many will just discard. I can't tell you which one is my favorite, because each has its own distinct nostalgia and, unlike mass-produced cards you often see today, each one has its own feel, its own personality. I know exactly who I would send each one to. :)
Oh I love No. 4! That is oh so cute! I bought a bunch of vintage cards recently from the Antique Store. I love reading ones that have been used. One was from a man in the Navy to his family back home! I love getting to read the little notes that were probably very special to many families back all those years ago
