3 Uses For Your DIY Bottle!

Yesterday we showed you a cute and simple way to add a bit of fun to a plain bottle or carafe with gold foil, and today we are gonna share with you 3 fun uses for your pretty new bottles just in time for Mother's Day!

This is an idea that looks cuter the more you use it. It's fun to use different color candles and let the wax drip down the sides of the bottle and after time you will see a pretty rainbow of hardened pastel colored wax. This would look super cute on a patio table on a warm summer evening!

Nothing brightens up a home quite like a fresh bouquet of flowers! Every mom deserves to have some pretty fragrant flowers on her kitchen table on Mother's Day!

A delicious idea would be to fill the bottle with a batch of your favorite sangria, fruit punch, or pink lemonade! We love the way the gold foil pops against the dark cherry colored sangria! And also, who can turn down a drink with a ton of fresh fruit in it?

Enjoy your Saturday, lovelies!

P.S. We just added a "DIY" link to our side bar, so if you are feeling extra crafty this weekend click the link and look back at our past DIY projects!

  2. This is such a great idea! My fiance and I actually live on an old apple orchard and we are constantly finding old glass soda bottles and I never knew what to do with them, but they were to lovely to throw out, so I've just been collecting them. But I think I might make cute little vases out of them! Thanks for the great idea!
