One night in Kuala Lumpur.

After a whirlwind couple of days in Bangkok we thought "why not continue the crazy?" and hopped on a short flight to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We arrived in the evening, took an insane cab ride in the rain and then spent one wild and crazy night in the city we love!
We decided to splurge on our one night here and booked a room at the nicest hotel in all of Kuala Lumpur - The Shangri-La. Words can't even describe how incredible it was. $100 can go a very long way in Asia, and this 5 star hotel did NOT disappoint! We're suckers for a little luxury every now and then, but who isn't?

We looked a little out of place in the sea of ball gowns, with our ripped shorts and worn out matching sandals.

So fancy!

We quickly got dolled up, hopped in a cab and went to Sky bar in downtown Kuala Lumpur. We met a couple of Iranian millionaires (ha!) in the elevator up, so lucky for us we didn't have to buy super expensive drinks that night!

Prettttttty excited to be back in Kuala Lumpur.

The Shangri-La does not spare expense on their flowers. Holy moly what a display!

Stef & wine go hand in hand.

The lovely Petronas Towers - the view from Sky bar...not too shabby!

Bathroom selfies, many floors up.
We danced the night away, and then headed back to our ritzy hotel.

Naturally we came back to the room, threw on the fluffy white bathrobes and ordered enough crazy expensive room service for four people, ate it all and passed out for a few hours and then caught our early morning flight to Bali!
