One way ticket, please.

I don't know about you guys but we've really got the travel itch right now! There are just so many beautiful places in the world and we would love to experience as many of them as we can! Here are a few destinations and places that are looking particularly inviting to us:

Ohhh Asia, I miss you! What I wouldn't give to be wandering the busy streets of Tokyo right now.

I'm not exactly sure where in the world this photo was taken, but these pastel fields look beyond peaceful. (psst... does anyone have any idea where this is?)

Greece has always been on the top of our travel wish-lists and this photo of a beach in Mykonos is only enticing us further.

There's nothing like a good old fashioned road trip south of the border, and I think that this vintage photograph perfectly captures the fun and excitement of that.

And of course, we always love and appreciate the beauty of the candy-colored architecture in Palm Springs.

What about you, what places are you dying to check out? We'd love to hear your suggestions! XO

  2. YES! I've got the bug so badly, I find myself yearning over lovely places to go on pinterest - with the budget of a student though, I can't see it happening any time soon...

  3. I believe the pastel fields might have something to do with this: http://www.shibazakura.jp/eng/ ? Hopefully it helps!

  4. Dream places to visit... England, Paris, The Netherlands, China, Russia, Germany, Greece, Vietnam... Man, this list is endless. I would really love to visit New York! This is going to sound very Carrie Bradshaw of me, but it sounds like a place where anything can happen. (Is that a weird thing to say?)

  5. I think the pastel fields are the pink moss flowers at the Shibazakura Festival in Japan! I want to go there veeeeeery much. Along with everywhere else in this post. I would love to go back to Canada though! You guys had poutine, which was equally delicious and disgusting.

  6. As a Californian born and bred, it's funny to think of people coming to my little state for vacation :) Of course, I'll be going up to Canada for my vacation next weekend, so I can't talk!

  9. I always desperately want to return to Rome...there's a flea market in an old bus depot, just beyond the Piazza del Popola that offers life in all it guises, among other things. http://huntresslondon.blogspot.co.uk/2014/06/found-real-story-was-hemmed-in.html

  12. I could definitely see you two cruising between the Greek Islands. I highly recommend it! Some of the islands are great for partying, some are just beautiful and relaxing and some are full of adventure. And a lot of them you can rent atv's for the day, buy a fresh baguette and goodies at the market and then cruise around and explore! Gah, makes me want to go back!!

  13. Oh, one-way tickets, swoon/sigh. We just settled for two round-trip tickets to Hawaii (in August! soon!), and cannot wait. But let us know when you make it 'down south' (LA-ish, that is).

  14. I know what you mean! I've been wanting to go on an adventure again. I even posted my own summer wish list. (http://www.chocoletchip.com/2014/07/midsummer-travel-wish-list/).

I can't go anywhere far but if I could I would and it would probably include South Korea, Bahamas, or Cabo!
