Never before have I thought about cannisters. It just hadn't occured to me that I would need them. Now, after seeing this I KNOW WHAT MY KITCHEN NEEDS. Thank you, Thank you!
I have a small obsession with cannisters...these are adorable....the oranger ones with the white print?? I think my Mama had identical ones when I was a child in Australia.
i like the turquoise one from the 60s. have yet to find the perfectly priced cannister set for my kitchen. i bake all the time, so it would be quite loverly to have a set. wonderful eye candy this post, as usual.
They're so cute especially the first set. I found a set of vintage Corelle in Spring Blossom at Goodwill. It had all the plates and tea cups but only had the sugar canister. I wish I kept it and just tried the find the other two but oh well. I still have the dish and use them in my apartment :)
I own set #6! I picked them up at an antique mall in Hardy, AR for $8 for the four piece set and could not believe how good they looked. That's fantastic to see someone else loving them, too.
Oh my word I love all those canisters! I wish I had all of them!
ReplyDeleteThis are all gorgeous! I recently just bought these ones: http://www.flickr.com/photos/princessskullface/6082469602/

One, four, seven, and eight <3, Ah! I want them all!
ReplyDeleteI love the orange set! Plus, they are great because they stack and don't take up too much counter space! Fabulous.
ReplyDeleteI would love to have some of these in my kitchen! But they're a little out of my reach, being a broke 18 year old living out of home.
