Inspiring Interior: "The Citation."

Get ready to be inspired:

The most incredible atomic interior can be found nestled inside this 1957 ranch house in Tulsa. This is definitely one of the most beautifully kept fifties home that we have ever laid eyes on!! We are officially in love, there is just so much goodness in this place!

Now... where to begin?

The first thing that jumps out at us is the amazing pale turquoise and white tiled floor! What an unbelievable pattern! Having such a light colored floor really brightens up this room! We are also really loving the wall covered in floor-to-ceiling boomerang print curtain panels! They compliment the flooring so well and they act as such an amazing focal point in the room.
Alright, let's rewind for a minute so we can give you a little bit of a history on the home....

This house is located in Tulsa's Wedgewood neighborhood and is known around there as "The Citation" house. It was purchased by vintage enthusiast Jennie Cluck, who had the vision to restore this home back to it's authentic glory. She took her time carefully restoring all of the original details and she re-created the rest using thrift store finds. Can you believe what an unbelievable job she did?! Wow-ee.
We absolutely love the color palette in this room and how the light wood furniture really compliments the bright turquoise walls! Another detail that really sticks out is the short atomic barkcloth curtains in the narrow window. How cute is that?! What an incredible collection of mid century furniture!

Those lamps! Be still my heart! That zig-zag one is especially unbelievable. We are also loving how the bright rattan furniture pops against the neutral walls and carpet.

Is it just us, or is this retro vanity straight out of any vintage loving girls' dreams?! Gahh! The chevron handles are so stunning. Not to mention the adorable coral record player!

So... needless to say, this home is straight out of our dreams. Jennie Cluck, you nailed it.
What an inspiring start to the week!
XO, Stef & Erin
