Rainy Friday.

Holy smokes, another week has come and gone, and it's really starting to feel like Autumn is creeping in. It's been rainy and pretty dreary around these parts but we're hoping the sun shows its' face a bit more yet this Summer. As much as we love Fall, we're not quite ready for it yet. Well, we hope you have a wonderful weekend everybody!

Daria is a total bombshell.

Another good saying.

This map of the known universe is pretty cool.

Another recipe from "What Katie Ate" that looks picture perfect.

It's (almost) sweater weather.

The temperatures have gradually started to drop here in Winnipeg so we have already started doing a little bit of fall window shopping, as much as it pains us to admit that summer is coming to a close. Here are a few cute knits and light jackets that are very versatile and that we think would make excellent additions to your autumn wardrobes:

Hornsea pottery love.

We've been collecting Hornsea pottery for years now, and as much as our kitchens have changed over the years, these pieces seem to somehow always stay current. Hornsea pottery has been around since 1949 and was started by two brothers in England. The pottery really took off in the 70's, and we love how the simple designs look timeless and some of the pieces even look like they were made recently!
I love the simple lines and colors of these stripes pieces.

This Springtime horsea piece has sold, and we can see why!

This vase is so simple, but so lovely!

I love the 70's look to these ones.

Ack! These patterns are incredible!
You can buy a set of the blue raindrop salt and pepper shakers here.

I think that I need this spice set in my life.

I can't decide if I like the brown or this green set better!?

Exterior envy.

Sometimes it is nice to judge a book by it's cover:

How adorable is this little pink cafe with the most suiting name?

I've always dreamed of having a house with an exterior covered with green vines, but this cottage takes it to the next level.

Built right into the side of a cliff, how is this even possible? You are absolutely breath-taking, Verona, Italy.

I am rarely one to daydream about winter time, but this open concept cozy cabin is looking pretty idealistic right now.

Saved the best for last... take a peek at this cat shaped school in Germany! My childhood dreams just came true!

Happy weekend!

Woop! It's Friday again! This week went by super crazy fast and we are looking forward to the weekend. Oh, we also updated our Instagram shop again today, so check it out!
Amen to that!

We are huge fans of Paper & Stitch, and this s'more ice cream sandwich makes us love her work more!

Such a beautiful restaurant exterior in Tribeca!

I like this saying. A lot.

How amazing is this Crosley turntable!?

In the boudoir.

Alright, so we moved into our house just over a year ago now and I am embarrassed to admit that we still had not even unpacked the spare bedroom. It was basically just used as a glorified "storage room" where we would toss random things that didn't have specific homes and it didn't take long before it started spiraling out of control into one big mess. However, a week ago we decided that enough is enough and we finally got our act together and cleaned it out! I did a mini makeover of the room, and it's not nearly done yet, but here is a little sneak peek of how it's coming along:

We found a vintage wrought iron bed frame on Kijiji and I immediately fell in love with this coral and grey striped bedding from Target the second I laid eyes on it, so we are basing the decor of the room around those things. We gave a few feature walls a coat of mint-colored paint that I think really accentuates the color of the bedding.  The room isn't quite done yet, so I will be sharing some more photos later on, but for now here are a few inspiration photos that I have been liking:

What an incredible headboard, I have never seen anything quite like that! I'm also a huge fan of the bedside greenery.

Yes! Bold pops of coral! Cute idea to have the color of the bedspread carry out onto the wall art too.

I'm really loving this cozy New York loft space, especially the warm lighting clustered in the corner. I am thinking about how I can incorporate something similar into my spare bedroom.

Why is everything better with exposed brick? I am also really into the mint accent color. (Who's surprised?)

More photos to come!

Lovely liquors.

...Because it's 5 o'clock somewhere, right?

First of all, this looks like the best thing ever. Secondly, as soon as I found this cocktail recipe I immediately went out and picked up the ingredients and made it for myself, and let me tell you, it does not disappoint. There is just a subtle hint of spice which is perfectly balanced by the soft sweetness of the peaches. It's pretty much the classiest margarita you've ever tasted.

Also accompanied by the prettiest tiny flower details.

If you like gin, grapefruit and a hint of lavender then The Molly Jane cocktail is perfect for you! Garnished with a fresh picked sage leaf, how can you resist?

Bri over at Design Love Fest has nailed it again in the beverage department because these sparkling summer cocktails look like they would really hit the spot right about now.

If you think this looks too good to drink then unfortunately I would have to inform you that you are correct. This photo is in fact part of a series of miniature photographs that make up a calendar, but it was just too adorable not to share! How cute are these palm tree and mini surfer figurines as garnishes? It would be so great to figure out a way to incorporate them into an actual tropical inspired cocktail!

Bottoms up lovelies! XO

Happy dance!

Well friends, another week is coming to a close and I have a busy night ahead of me! We are having some friends over tonight to celebrate Emery's birthday this weekend and I am busy scouring blogs to find some new delicious appetizer recipes to try and yummy summer cocktails to mix! Throughout my internet searches I stumbled upon a few lovely things that I thought I would share with you on this beautiful Friday afternoon! Enjoy!
Isn't this just the prettiest cocktail you ever did see? You too can make your own chamomile whiskey by using the recipe over on Design Love Fest.

I'm super into this plant hanger DIY found via the Free People blog! I have so many spots in my house that are just begging for more hanging greenery.

Fig, caramel, walnut, and goat cheese cake. Need I say more? Recipe here.

And last but certainly not least, take a peek at this tiny pooch! How adorable is this little guy?! The best part... he's for sale!! If it wasn't for my darn allergies I would snatch this mini pup up!

Happy weekend! Xo, Stef

James and the Giant Peach.

Yes, we are aware that it is not Tuesday today, however we couldn't resist sharing this collection of adorable peachy things with you! It definitely brightened up our day and we hope that it does the same for you.  :)

The most darling little peach clutch in the shape of a peach... doesn't get much cuter than that!

Do you have an abundance of house plants in your home? Then this shade of peach for your walls would be a perfect way to make the green leaves pop!

I've never had this flavor of milkshake but this peach pie milkshake looks like it would be the perfect cool treat. You can find the recipe over on Oh Joy!

This outfit is peachy keen. I especially love the pineapple print tee for summer!

Love this combo of porcelain envelopes holding greenery and pale peach place cards.
Interested? Well good news, you can purchase them here.

Hope you all are having a lovely day! Xo
